Claudio Simpkins



    Claudio Simpkins is a civil litigator with experience in general corporate and contract litigation, internet technology, and intellectual property. Claudio began his legal career with a large corporate law firm in Manhattan, focusing on residential mortgage-backed securities and pharmaceutical patents, before gaining hands-on experience with boutique outfits focusing on the delivery of creative solutions to cutting edge legal problems.
    A zealous advocate, Claudio has appeared in federal district courts, state and appellate courts, mediations, arbitrations and internationally before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) winning victories on international service of process, cross-border copyright infringement, and cybersquatting. Specifically regarding technology and the Internet, Claudio has successfully navigated BitTorrent, hacking, cyberstalking, sim-swapping, cryptocurrency theft, and extortion-related cases on behalf of individual and corporate clients. Claudio also has a deep understanding of global patent licensing regimes in the context of cellular, Internet of Things (IoT), wearable, and electric and autonomous vehicle technology sectors.
    Claudio was awarded a prestigious Harry S. Truman award while at the Macaulay Honors College at the City College of New York (CCNY) before attending Harvard Law School where he received his Juris Docorate. He is a strong communicator and brings that skill set to bear both in being attentive to his clients’ needs and desires and in achieving results consistent with those needs and desires.
