Francis G. Rushford is a recognized global authority on Intellectual Property. He has spoken frequently on the topic as well having published numerous articles on a broad range of IP topics. He founded the Patent Trading Desk at ICAP and is a co-founder of RSL Holdings, a premier IP valuation and monetization IP business. He has successfully generated hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue for his clients through the proper valuation and monetization of patents and other IP, through litigation and assertion-based licensing globally, particularly throughout the United States, Asia and Germany.
Mr. Rushford has wide-ranging experience in Intellectual Property and Commercial litigation including, trials, arbitrations, provisional relief, discovery motion practice, all phases of pretrial work, jury selection, assessment of damages and enforcement of judgments. In addition, Mr. Rushord has extensive experience in a broad range of technologies from AI/AR to pharmaceuticals and is a long-standing member of the Licensing Executives Society, the ABA, Intellectual Property Owners, AIPLA and a number of local intellectual property associations.
Mr. Rushford received a B.S. in metallurgical engineering at New York University and a J.D. from New England Law Boston, where he was an Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Rushford is licensed to practice law in New York and California.
